Erie Gives Day 2025

The biggest day of giving in Erie is almost here, and Because You Care is once again excited to join the list of nonprofits participating in this online giving event.

Join us for Hurdles for Hounds, a tail-wagging, heart-pounding 5K and obstacle course event to support cats and dogs in need! This fun-filled fundraiser is open to all members of the community. Proceeds go directly to providing medical care, food, shelter, and forever homes for rescue animals. Our friends at Animal Ark & Animal Kingdom Pet Hospitals are providing us with doggy treat bags for the four-legged attendees. For the humans, Boro Dogs Food truck will be in attendance because every good deed deserves a great snack!
